What I'm watching (bold is non-network, italicized is midseason):
Sunday: The Good Wife, Revenge, Downton Abbey, Game of Thrones, Homeland
Monday: Castle, HIMYM, Sleepy Hollow, Lost Girl
Tuesday: S.H.I.E.L.D., Pretty Little Liars, Ravenswood
Wednesday: Modern Family, Nashville, Suburgatory
Thursday: Parks and Recreation, Grey's Anatomy, Scandal, Parenthood, Elementary, Community
Friday: Haven
There are a few midseason shows I'm considering: Crisis and Us & Them, but I'm not sold yet.
What I'm for sure NOT reviewing:
HIMYM, Castle, Modern Family, Suburgtory
I will be reviewing Downton but with the American schedule, not the British schedule that is currently airing. I won't spoil anyone here, but my Tumblr might.
This may change because no one decided to consult my emotional health when creating that Thursday schedule. Or maybe I'll switch to live-blogging for some. Thoughts?
If you see I'm missing something you dearly love to watch, head over to my friend Emily's blog here!
What are you looking forward to? Not looking forward to? Are you willing to help my Thursday night wine/tissue fund? Answer in the comments!

Revenge 2X18-Dark and Light
I knew you could do it Daniel.
I knew you could figure out that your mother was the one threatening you, not the Initiative. Because they do not give a fuck about Emily, really, and your mother totally does. And score one for Emily, finally getting one on Victoria. I feel like a lot of her plans go awry, and I'm glad to see one seem to work.
Poor Nolan. I was really hoping that Padma would be alive and we could see these two love birds reunite. But no, Revenge is not that show that will give you a happy ending. It will crush your heart and blow your mind simultaneously. I loved the scene where Emily comforts Nolan. Their friendship is kind of wonderful, and I love that she was willing to abandon her plans to be with him. I also love how this show uses these moments to show us Amanda. I've always thought that Emily VanCamp is the best actress on the show as she allows us to see Amanda's emotional reactions to a scenario before "The Ice Queen" Emily take over. But then the show gives us these moments of Amanda caring for Nolan, or her relationship with Aiden, and the audience gets a look into the opposite of the Ice Queen. Amanda is a character made up of many extreme and competing emotions; Emily is not. And I love that this show lets us get to know both of these characters.
Speaking of Aiden, I'm not always sold on their relationship. Sometimes I really enjoy them and sometimes I find him obnoxious. I understand that he's jealous of Daniel and all, but when he first came on the show he was willing to do anything to get his sister back. Didn't he even betray Amanda when they were learning how to be Revengers? But now he become all overprotective and cold with Emily? What the hell dude? Hopefully we'll be seeing less of him as Emily and Daniel become closer. I'm really curious about Emily and Daniel. She seems to care for him, but her goal is Victoria. So is she trying to make Victoria angry by going after Daniel?
Other thoughts:
-I used to be ambivalent about Charlotte, but I like her more after she punched that girl.
-I'm glad Nolan could help advance not only Jack's plan, but Emily's as well
-I also like that Ashley may have something to do on this show besides serve the Graysons.
-So Trask is gone, and that's who I thought Falcon was, so now who could it be? Are they going to introduce a new character or have it be a current character?

The final showdown for these two should prove to be interesting and entertaining. |

Revenge 2X17- The Power of Forgiveness
I did not see that coming.
Mostly, it's because the characters are generally easy to
read. You may not know what they're going to do, but you know who they're
after. Eli came off as going after Amanda/Emily, but did a...well it wasn't a
complete 180. I don't know, a complete 90? He didn't attack the Graysons, which
would be a 180. I..I..I have nothing. Whatever it was, it was entertaining as
hell.
I have my concerns about Daniel. Sometimes I think he won't
follow in his family's footsteps, but other times I feel they make decisions
for him and he is too in the dark to do anything. Like Victoria stalking him
and Emily to dissuade him from seeking Emily's help. I do appreciate Daniel for
this; he seems to be the most genuine person on the show. At least for someone
so in the middle of things, Jack, Charlotte and Deacon are pretty genuine. But
Daniel is the CEO of Grayson Global, shouldn't he be more...scheme-y? I mean he
seemed to be catching on last week by getting rid of the clock the Initiative
was spying on him with. I guess I simultaneously want him to fight back but
also be an honest character. So basically, Jack then? But back to Grayson
Global, I'm interested to see how the company will be manipulated in the
future. Is Aiden really going to go down for Grayson Global? I have a feeling
he will weasel his way out of it.
Poor Nolan. First Padma was betraying him, now she may be
dead. In a show of people lying about their emotions and manipulating others,
Padma and Nolan were a surprise. They managed to work past the betrayal to
actually care about each other. But, of course the Initiative had to get
involved
I really love the role reversal that this has brought. Nolan
has been the voice of reason for Emily throughout her revenge plans. Emily has
needed calming down after large emotional occurrences, just last week he was
comforting her while she was furious and emotional about Fauxmanda's death. But
Emily was able to do that for Nolan. An emotional wreck, she came up with a
plan for his revenge and will help him. I'm looking forward to that as a
storyline, I like seeing Nolan not so under control.
I also really want Nolan and Jack to become BFFs again. Nolan explained away most of it, but I think Jack is still suspicious. I'm never sure how I feel about Emily and Jack, but Nolan and Jack are one of my favorite pairings. Emily and Jack have too many lies. Although, I wish she would tell him a half truth about some of the questions he brought up to get their friendship back together
The biggest question I have so far is: who is Falcon? I think it's the new Initiative liaison dude, but Revenge never takes the most obvious path
Next Episode: Masquerade Ball. Because what show, other than
Pretty Little Liars, is more appropriate for people dressing up in costume and
pretending to not be themselves.
